10-Layer Structural "Boat" Carbon Sole

The heart of the Z001 is its advanced 10-layer wrap-around carbon fibre "boat" sole. Engineered entirely from aerospace-grade pure carbon fibre with zero fibreglass filler, this structural tub replaces traditional, flimsy plastic heel cups. By extending up and wrapping over the toe, around the heel, and under the instep, it provides incredible lateral support and integrated arch stability, reducing foot deformation under max load and lowering injury risks during intensive, high-wattage race efforts.

Professional Heat-Mouldable Custom Fit

Designed to adapt flawlessly to your unique anatomy, both the microfibre upper and the 10-layer carbon sole feature highly reactive heat-mouldable technology. By performing a quick 4-minute thermoforming process at 90℃ (via an oven or hot-air blower), the entire chassis softens just enough to be hand-shaped directly to the foot. The system is completely re-mouldable, providing a true custom orthotic experience that locks down the heel and eliminates agonising hot spots.

High-Density Temperature Adaptive Upper

The Z001 utilises a premium multi-layered microfibre leather upper engineered to maintain high tensile strength under extreme physical strain. This moisture-resistant material behaves dynamically across volatile environments, flexing smoothly in the cold while shedding moisture and preventing expansion during hot, high-perspiration mountain stages. Integrated laser-ventilation ports run along the upper panelling to maintain continuous, quick-drying comfort when riding in demanding weather conditions.

Titanium Triangular Cleat Interface

To secure your power plant to the pedals, the Z001 relies on an upgraded, rust-resistant Titanium Triangular Cleat Mounting System. The inclusion of lightweight, high-strength titanium backing hardware guarantees threads will never strip during heavy sprint torques. Integrated micro-etched crosshair alignment grids allow riders to perfectly replicate and fine-tune their cleat position, while an anti-slip texture prevents the cleat interface from rotating out of alignment over time.

Dialled In At Speed

Utilizing a precision dual-dial mechanical closure system running high-tensile lacing paths, the Z001 allows you to make micro-adjustments on the fly. The independent top and bottom zones enable you to anchor the heel tight for technical criterium finishes while leaving room in the toe box during long, arduous training miles.
