Chaser Sports 0-AERO Carbon Aerodynamic Disc Brake Rotor
The newly designed 0-AERO carbon aerodynamic disc is the pinnacle of Chaser's rotor technology, taking 8 months to develop. Combining high-modulus T800 carbon fibre structural integration with an advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics aerodynamic exterior design, this model is built explicitly to maximise weight savings and wind-cheating efficiency on high-performance race setups.

Hot-Pressed T800 Carbon Structural Engineering
The central bracket is crafted entirely from premium T800 carbon fibre and manufactured utilising a high-precision one-piece hot-press moulding technique. To achieve a significantly lighter profile while unlocking superior strength, engineered reinforcing ribs have been integrated directly into the carbon bracket's geometry.
The structural design has undergone multiple computer-aided finite element simulation calculations to ensure it easily handles an instantaneous rotational software-simulated torque of 100Nm - equivalent to the intense kinetic energy borne by the disc when a 100kg object comes to a sudden stop from 60km/h within 5 seconds.
Advanced Wire-Cut Friction Interface & Thermal Resilience
In production, the braking surface discards traditional high-temperature methods in favour of specialised SUS420 stainless steel wire cutting technology. Compared to laser cutting, this precise mechanical process does not generate intense localised heat, preventing early material deformation.
An integrated heat treatment process is subsequently incorporated to elevate hardness. Rigorous physical bench tests demonstrate that the finished composite structure reliably withstands a blistering heat distortion temperature of 500°C and physical torque peaks of 130Nm.
Runout Control & Field Verification
To eliminate the frustration of rotor rub and simplify bike maintenance, each rotor utilises a combination of automated levelling machinery and meticulous manual calibration to achieve strict runout control. The entire manufacturing process was thoroughly validated through real-world road testing by multiple professional riders alongside adjustment feedback from more than 10 professional technicians. This guarantees that the disc is highly resistant to rubbing against the brake calliper pads and remains remarkably easy to adjust.
💡 PERFORMANCE PAD RECOMMENDATION: It is highly recommended to use metal brake pads such as Shimano L04C to achieve enhanced braking force. Because the brake friction surface relies on dedicated heat treatment technology, riders can descend with total confidence without worrying about premature wear or durability.
